Professional Bull Riders Release Children’s Book
The Ariat Texas Rattlers Would Like You To Meet Venom
Fort Worth-based PBR (Professional Bull Riders) World Champions the Ariat Texas Rattlers have launched a children’s book titled Venom’s Eight-Second Dream: A Bull’s Journey to Victory. Honoring the spirit of PBR’s animal athletes, the story follows the adventures of Venom, the team’s beloved bull mascot, and aims to inspire young readers while educating fans of all ages about the importance of animal welfare in professional bull riding. The story’s important message conveys the ethical values the organization adheres to and recognizes how these animals are just as much elite athletes as the riders.
Venom’s Eight-Second Dream: A Bull’s Journey to Victory is written by Lindsay Keller, who is known for her work in Western-themed children’s literature and brought to life through the illustrations of Michael Crutchfield.
The organization will be donating 100 copies of Venom’s Eight-Second Dream to libraries across North Texas, including more than 30 locations in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, as well as one copy added to the National Library of Congress.
